Our trade-in concept

How can you give an Old Pitched Roof a new life?

With this question, our partner Luijtgaarden has been able to distinguish itself with the trade-in concept. Thanks to our close cooperation, we can also offer the trade-in concept. The old roof tiles are reused or recycled! And the best part is, it also saves you money and you can present your customer with a sustainability certificate! Together, we ensure less waste and reduced demand for new raw materials!

With the Trade-In Program, we accept all used roof tiles. These have residual value. The used roof tiles are checked for quality and sorted according to the principle of the Lansink ladder. From experience, we know that, on average, 60% of the roof tiles can be reused.

Step 1

We take back all used roof tiles from the renovation or demolition project. For the removal of the roof tiles, our partner Luijtgaarden provides special trade-in racks.

Step 3

The roof tiles are classified based on the Ladder of Lansink, a standard in waste management, aiming to find a new purpose for each product.

Step 4

When the condition of the used roof tiles is too poor to be re-laid, you can trade them in for new roof tiles. We then look for a new purpose for the used roof tiles, such as clean rubble for foundations or gravel for tennis courts.

Step 5

Receive a Kiwa certificate as proof for circular building or renovating. In the case of demolition and renovation, the certificate includes a sorting report, showing the level at which the collected roof tiles are reused or recycled.

The Ladder of Lansink
